Adverb

A word that modifies or describes a verb, adjective, or other adverb. It provides information about time, place, manner, degree, frequency, or quantity.

Adverb of Time

An adverb that tells when an action happened or will happen. It answers the question 'When?'

An adverb that tells where an action happened or will happen. It answers the question 'Where?'

Adverb of Manner

An adverb that tells how an action happened or will happen. It answers the question 'How?'

Adverb of Degree

Interrogative Adverb

Comparative Adverb

An adverb that compares two actions or qualities. It is used to show a higher or lower degree.

Superlative Adverb

An adverb that compares more than two actions or qualities. It is used to show the highest or lowest degree.
